Discover the story behind Nozzle
Aline Ollevier is an occupational therapist (MSc), certified ergonomist, and researcher with over twenty years of experience in office ergonomics and rehabilitation.
She began her career in clinical practice, guiding individuals with back and neck pain for many years. Later, she combined this with research and teaching at VIVES University of Applied Sciences in Bruges. She has published in international peer-reviewed journals, co-authored textbooks, led European research projects, and continues to serve on the board of the Belgian Ergonomics Association (VERV).
For twenty years, she observed the exact same pattern: people sitting eight to ten hours a day on chairs that were poorly adjusted for them—often due to a lack of knowledge, and because a single standard chair can never fit everyone.
In 2024, she founded Nozzle: a Bruges-based company that 3D-prints fully custom ergonomic seating, driven by a 3D body scan and years of clinical research into posture and pressure distribution.
